Victims of road accidents received approximately 4.5 million KGS in compensation under compulsory motor third-party liability insurance

In Kyrgyzstan, citizens who were victims of road accidents and other insured events received more than 4.58 million KGS in compensation. Forty-eight people across the country received the relevant certificates.

Most of the payments were made under compulsory motor third-party liability insurance (CMTPL) — 4.41 million KGS. 85,800 KGS were paid out for CASCO insurance claims, and 90,700 KGS for a fire in Bishkek.

Residents of the capital alone received compensation amounting to over 3.1 million KGS. Since the beginning of the year, the total amount of payments to victims of road accidents has exceeded 40 million KGS, which indicates an increase in insurance claims and the scale of road accidents.
