Entrepreneurs will be able to obtain loans for ‘green’ projects at 8 per cent per annum

The State Development Bank and OJSC ‘ABank’ have signed a cooperation agreement on the financing of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

Under the programme, the State Development Bank will provide ABank with funds for on-lending to entrepreneurs. Loans will be issued in KGS at 8 per cent per annum for a term of up to 5 years.

The funds received may be used for:

the purchase of energy-efficient equipment;

the installation of solar panels and other renewable energy systems;

• the modernisation of production;
• reducing resource consumption;
• the introduction of environmentally friendly technologies;
• the development of environmentally friendly transport;
• support for women’s entrepreneurship.

The agreement was signed on 1 October 2026. The State Development Bank noted that the partnership should expand businesses’ access to funding for projects in the field of sustainable development.
