Thus, in the Sverdlovsk district, the recommended price for beef is 770 KGS per kilogramme, and for lamb – 880 KGS per kilogramme.
The inspections are being carried out by district municipal administrations in conjunction with the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, veterinary services and other relevant authorities.
Inspections are taking place at markets, mini-markets, shopping centres, shops and other retail outlets. Specialists are monitoring prices and checking compliance with legal requirements.
In the Oktyabrsky District, the ‘Orto-Say’ market, four mini-markets and 23 retail outlets were inspected. In the Leninsky District, a raid took place at the ‘Osh Bazaar’. In the Pervomaisky District, 181 inspections were carried out between 15 August 2025 and 28 September 2026.
Business owners are also reminded of the need to comply with veterinary and hygiene standards and to ensure appropriate trading conditions.
