09/30/2026, 17:10In Kyrgyzstan, real wages for employees of enterprises and organisations rose by 16.1% in January–July 2026 compared with the same period in 2025. These figures are provided by the National Statistics Committee.
Real wages are calculated taking into account changes in consumer prices; therefore, their growth indicates an increase in the purchasing power of earnings, adjusted for inflation.
Meanwhile, the average monthly nominal gross wage for the seven-month period stood at 54,864 KGS. Over the year, it increased by 28.5%.
The highest average monthly wage was recorded in Bishkek — 67,361 KGS. In the Issyk-Kul region, the figure stood at 60,046 KGS; in the Naryn region, at 51,462 KGS; and in the Talas region, at 50,423 KGS.
The lowest average wage was recorded in the Osh Region — 36,751 KGS. In the Batken Region, it stood at 41,681 KGS; in the Chui Region — 43,170 KGS; and in the city of Osh — 44,553 KGS.
Converted at the National Bank’s official exchange rate, the average monthly wage in January–July was $627.4.
The data does not include small enterprises.
