Chairman of the State Tax Service Almambet Shykmamatov Summarizes 2025 at Staff Meeting

The State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan exceeded its tax and insurance contribution targets for 2025. With a target of 343 billion KGS, actual revenues amounted to 389 billion KGS, which is 13.6% more than planned. The surplus amounted to 46.5 billion KGS.

Compared to last year, revenues increased by 87.5 billion KGS. The growth rate was 28.9%, which is a historic high.

STS Chairman Almamet Shykmamatov said that in 2026, the service intends to achieve even higher results through digitalisation, analytics and new administration mechanisms. Among the priorities are reducing tax arrears, combating the shadow economy and liberalising the tax burden for small and medium-sized businesses.

In January 2026, the State Tax Service will introduce a new electronic accounting system, Kezet, which will provide online monitoring and contactless desk audits.
