08/04/2026, 11:23Officers from the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, during a tax inspection raid in the Talas Region, uncovered an attempt to illegally import unaccounted-for flour from EAEU member states via the ‘Chon-Kapka’ checkpoint.
Specifically, during an inspection of four lorries, it was established that the actual quantities of flour being imported were lower than those stated in the accompanying documents. The total quantity of undeclared flour amounted to 20 tonnes. According to preliminary estimates, the value of the goods is approximately 800,000 KGS.
The vehicles have now been impounded. Appropriate measures are being taken against the offenders in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
