    The inflow of remittances exceeds the outflow by 9 times

    In the fourth quarter of 2025, the volume of cross-border remittances to Kyrgyzstan reached $311.7 million, according to data from the National Bank.

    The main inflow of funds came from the CIS countries — $296.7 million, with almost $293 million coming from Russia. Kazakhstan sent $2.8 million, with the rest coming from other countries in the region. $15 million was transferred from countries outside the CIS, including $9 million from Turkey and $5 million from the US.

    The outflow was significantly lower, at $33.7 million. Of this, $30 million went to CIS countries, mainly Kazakhstan ($25 million) and Russia ($5 million). Kyrgyz citizens sent $3.7 million abroad, including $1.9 million to Turkey and $600,000 to the US.
