According to the bank's estimates, budget revenues for the year grew by 4.7 percentage points and reached 34.1% of GDP. The main driver of growth was a 32.3% increase in tax revenues.
An additional factor was a significant increase in profit transfers from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic to the budget, which grew 3.7 times.
State budget expenditures also increased by 4.7 percentage points to 31.5% of GDP. The increase in expenditures is largely due to a 3.2-fold increase in expenditures under the item “economic issues.”
This category includes expenditures on the fuel and energy complex, agriculture, and the mining industry.
