02/10/2026, 13:52In the fourth quarter of 2025, the average minimum subsistence level per capita in Kyrgyzstan reached 9,072.21 KGS, an increase of 11.9% compared to the same period in 2024. Compared to the previous quarter, the indicator increased by 2.8%.
For the whole of 2025, the average annual subsistence minimum was 8,697.32 KGS, which is 9.2% higher than in 2024.
The largest increase was observed among the working-age population: men are provided with a minimum of 10,314.10 KGS, women — 10,031.53 KGS. For pensioners, the subsistence minimum is 7,980.03 KGS, for children — 7,639.31 KGS.
Food continues to account for the largest share of the minimum subsistence level — 65%, non-food goods — 16%, services — 17%, and taxes — 2%. The energy value of food products is 2,101 kcal, consisting of 73 g of protein and 71 g of fat.
The increase in the subsistence minimum reflects the rise in prices for goods and services, as well as the gradual improvement in the standard of living of the population.
