05/22/2026, 11:41As of the end of April, the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund had financed 3,761 projects totaling $1.1515 billion, according to the Fund’s data.
The largest area of funding, in terms of the number of projects, was the agro-industrial sector, as well as the production and processing of agricultural products. The RKFR allocated $216.9 million to these areas, funding 1,910 projects.
The manufacturing sector ranked second in terms of funding volume—$223.9 million and 542 projects. A significant portion of the funds was also directed toward the production of construction materials—$208.9 million—hydropower—$146.2 million—and the transport and logistics sector—$115.2 million.
The Fund paid special attention to infrastructure and tourism. $67.4 million was allocated for infrastructure projects, and $79.4 million for the tourism sector.
Bishkek leads in the number of projects implemented—873 projects. It is followed by the Chui Region with 739 projects and the Issyk-Kul Region, where 602 projects were funded. In the Talas Region, 462 projects received support; in the Jalal-Abad Region, 401; and in the Osh Region, 311.
The lowest number of projects was recorded in the Naryn Region—106, the Batken Region—127, and the city of Osh—131 projects.
