02/28/2025, 17:07Russia has approved a list of 92 organisations that will conduct examinations for migrant workers. The exams will include testing knowledge of the Russian language, Russian history and the basics of Russian legislation. This will help migrants adapt more easily in the country and better understand the laws.
The purpose of these changes is to help migrants from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan find jobs in Russia more easily. In addition, the Labour Dispute Assistance Centre (LDC) and its partners will conduct educational programmes for citizens of these countries. The courses will include Russian language, basics of legislation and Russian history. This will help migrants obtain patents and get jobs.
The Centre has been helping migrants with labour disputes for many years and works with state and private organisations. During this time, the CTC has helped more than 3,000 people and won about 500 cases.
