Growth in Consumer Prices and Tariffs Observed Across Most EAEU Countries

In August 2025, most EAEU countries recorded an increase in consumer prices, with Russia and Belarus being the only exceptions. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.

Prices fell by 0.4% in Russia and 0.3% in Belarus. In Kyrgyzstan, the increase was 0.4%, and in Armenia, 0.2%. The highest figure was recorded in Kazakhstan, at 8.8% compared to December 2024.

The growth in Kazakhstan is explained by the rise in prices for food (8.9%), non-food goods (6.4%) and services (10.8%). In Kyrgyzstan, inflation since the beginning of the year has reached 6.5%, in Armenia – 4.1%, in Belarus – 4.7%, and in Russia – 3%.

In August, there was an increase in food and service prices in Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, while in Belarus, on the contrary, they decreased. Overall, inflation dynamics in the EAEU remain moderate, with the exception of Kazakhstan, where price growth rates are significantly higher.
