05/13/2026, 16:14The rouble continued to strengthen, whilst the dollar remained unchanged. The Kyrgyz National Bank has published the official exchange rates for 14 May 2026.
The US dollar remained at 87.4500 KGS. The euro fell to 102.3427 KGS, or by 0.35%. The Russian rouble, by contrast, strengthened by a further 0.29% to 1.1872 KGS.
The Chinese yuan also rose by 0.06% to 12.8781 KGS. The Kazakhstani tenge fell by 0.58% to 0.1874 KGS.
It should be noted that from 25 February 2023, the rouble exchange rate stood at 1.1679 KGS, after which it fell to 1.1619 and has not risen above this level since. It was not until 16 April 2026 that the Russian currency exceeded its previous levels for the first time during this period, reaching 1.1621 KGS. Today, the rouble has surpassed these figures and risen to 1.1872 KGS. The rouble continues to strengthen and set new highs for recent years.
