According to the parliamentarian, citizens are requesting an extension of the deadline for legalizing such vehicles. He proposed postponing the final date until the end of the year, as was previously done for cars with Armenian and Abkhaz license plates.
Eldar Abakirov noted that mainly inexpensive small-displacement cars are imported into Kyrgyzstan from Russia. At the same time, customs clearance in the amount of 100,000 KGS is becoming unaffordable for their owners. The deputy proposed considering the possibility of reducing customs payments by half.
