10/31/2025, 17:32The President stated that Kyrgyzstan needs young people with deep knowledge, high culture and modern thinking. He said this at a ceremony to award Presidential Scholarships to students of the country's universities.
In his address, the Head of State emphasised that the Presidential Scholarship is not only a financial incentive, but also recognition of the achievements of students who have distinguished themselves in their studies, science and public life.
"Your success today is the result of the work of the teaching staff, the comprehensive support of your parents and your own thirst for knowledge. This is not only recognition of what has already been achieved, but also a call to become sought-after professionals who are necessary for the development of our country," said the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Head of State noted the importance of innovation and scientific research, calling on students to develop projects in the fields of technology, ecology, medicine, education, agriculture and cybersecurity.
Sadyr Zhaparov expressed his gratitude to the teachers, emphasising their crucial role in educating the new generation:
‘Behind the success of every student is a mentor, someone who guided, inspired, gave warmth like a parent, and shared knowledge and wisdom,’ he said.
The President concluded his speech with the following words:
‘The whole country, the whole nation has high hopes for you: get a decent education, create innovations, participate in creative endeavours, become modern citizens of Kyrgyzstan, proud of your traditions and history!’
