Today, deputies of the ZhK will consider the issue of the parliament's self-dissolution

Today, 25 September, the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, held a meeting of the Parliament's Coordination Council.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Speakers, faction leaders, chairpersons of relevant committees and the leadership of the apparatus.

Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu noted that for the first time in the history of sovereign Kyrgyzstan, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh put forward an initiative to dissolve themselves for the sake of the country's future. He said that this issue would be put to a vote at today's meeting.

During the meeting of the Coordination Council, issues related to the self-dissolution of the Jogorku Kenesh were discussed, and proposals and opinions were expressed.
