Seitek Kulubaev appointed mayor of Batken

President Sadyr Zhaparov signed a decree appointing Seitek Kulubaev as mayor of Batken, in accordance with Article 71 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic and Part 1 of Article 47 of the Law on Local State Administration and Local Self-Government Bodies.

The previous mayor of Batken, Temirbolot Abykeev, left office of his own accord in October this year, having served as mayor for less than eight months.

    Over the past five years, exports of IT services from Kyrgyzstan to the US have grown 45-fold. Whereas previously there were virtually no exports to this country, today the US market has become the largest destination for domestic IT companies. By the end of 2024, the volume of Kyrgyz IT service exports reached $130 million, of which almost 40% went to the US.
