On behalf of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, the fairs are organised for the direct sale of fresh, environmentally friendly products. Farmers are given the opportunity to sell their goods without intermediaries, and the population can buy products at affordable prices.
The objectives of the fairs are to provide the population with quality products, support farmers and stabilise prices in the food market.
The fairs are held in all regions of the country and in Bishkek. There is no shortage of basic products, food supplies are sufficient, and the fairs are aimed at strengthening the domestic market.
