09/22/2025, 18:00Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev familiarised himself with the activities of the modern KG TEX garment factory in the Chui region.
This factory is one of 134 industrial enterprises planned to be launched this year, and its official opening took place as part of the country's Independence Day celebrations.
The enterprise has created 300 jobs. The factory is equipped with modern equipment and comfortable conditions have been created for employees. The production capacity of the enterprise is up to 100,000 items of clothing per month. The products will be supplied not only to the domestic market, but also exported to the EAEU countries.
The project was implemented as part of cooperation between the state, business and partners, in particular the Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani Development Fund. The fund invested $930,000 in the opening of the enterprise. The total cost of the project is estimated at approximately $2 million.
After familiarising himself with the factory's operations, Bakyt Torobaev noted that the opening of new production facilities is part of an initiative to launch 100 industrial enterprises annually. In 2025, 76 of the planned 134 enterprises have already been put into operation.
