09/05/2025, 09:50In Jalal-Abad, facts of illegal privatization of a land plot on the territory of the Soolikh mosque have been revealed. This was reported by the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the investigation, in 2016, the former imam of the mosque, the ex-head of the Yrys aiyl okmotu, and an employee of the DUMK colluded and registered a 350 sq. m. plot of land, which was used as a parking lot, as private property. Later, the land was re-registered to a DUMK specialist, B.A.A.
The investigation established that the plot was transferred in violation of the law and without an auction. As a result, the mufti's employee was placed in a pre-trial detention center, and the other two figures in the case are under house arrest.
