The head of the Cabinet noted the significance of the transfer of 150 vehicles to the Main Directorate for Road Safety, emphasising that providing the relevant services with domestically produced vehicles demonstrates the growth of the country's economic potential.
«These measures will contribute to strengthening public order. Harmony and order foster respect for the laws and rules adopted in society. Where there is harmony, there is also the progressive development of the state», — said Adylbek Kasymaliyev.
According to him, the number of vehicles registered in the city of Bishkek has exceeded 400,000, and taking into account transit traffic, it is about 700,000. In this regard, providing modern transport to employees responsible for road safety is a necessity.
«Our goal is to take road safety to a new level. But technology alone cannot solve the problem. The main force is people, specialists, employees. Every driver, seeing your uniform, stops, remembers discipline and the law. Therefore, your service has a very responsible mission», — said Adylbek Kasymaliyev.
The head of the Cabinet then handed over the keys to 150 new vehicles equipped with digital technology, including Hytera radio stations, GPS navigation and video cameras.
During the event, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were also honoured for the 35th anniversary of the rescue service and for their selfless work during the summer tourist season. Seven employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations who saved human lives, as well as sixteen employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, received gratitude on behalf of the Cabinet of Ministers.
