Average daily wages have risen by up to 20% — Daniyar Amangeldiev

The average wage in Kyrgyzstan has exceeded 47,000 KGS, with wage growth in certain sectors of the economy ranging from 15% to 20%. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev during a meeting with journalists as part of the ‘Open Cabinet’ project.

According to him, the growth in household incomes is boosting domestic purchasing power and sustaining market activity. The country is seeing growth in wholesale and retail trade, as well as in the services sector.

Amangeldiev noted that the injection of financial resources into the economy is already having a positive effect and helping to maintain high growth rates. The authorities expect that the 2025 figures will be maintained by the end of 2026.

Furthermore, the Cabinet intends to maintain the current pace of economic growth until 2030 by attracting foreign direct investment into medium-term projects.
