Terms of construction permits in the Kyrgyz Republic reduced from 180 to 60 working days

The time for obtaining a construction permit in Kyrgyzstan has been reduced from 180 to 60 working days. Also, the time of environmental expertise has been significantly reduced - now it takes only 10 working days for the majority of objects. This was announced by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev at a staff meeting.

The main goal of the reform is to accelerate national development through simplification and transparency of the permit system in the construction sector. State agencies together with specialized specialists have completely revised the process of issuing permits, eliminating bureaucratic barriers and non-transparent procedures.

Adylbek Kasymaliyev noted that the achieved results are only the first stage of reforms. Now the second stage has begun, aimed at digitalization of processes: complete transition of the permit system to electronic format, automation of document flow and minimization of the human factor.

"All state and municipal bodies should be ready for the introduction of digital technologies in this area. There is still a lot of work ahead, and the changes should be felt first of all by citizens," - emphasized the head of the Cabinet.

In addition, the meeting discussed the simplification of medical and social expertise, rehabilitation and habilitation for people with disabilities. Previously, the process took about 30 days and required many personal appeals, but now it has been transferred to an online format, and the period of processing documents has been reduced to 5 working days.
