The price of an ounce of gold fell by 0.25 per cent

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has reduced the buy-back prices for standard gold bars. As of 11 August, the buy-back price for an ounce of gold (31.1035 grams) stood at 380,311.50 KGS, compared with 381,282 KGS the previous day. The price thus fell by 970.50 KGS, or 0.25 per cent.

The decline also affected ingots of other denominations. The buy-back price for a 1-gram bar fell to 13,523 KGS, for a 2-gram bar to 25,769 KGS, for a 5-gram bar to 62,672.50 KGS, and for a 10-gram bar to 122,462.50 KGS. The buy-back price for a 100-gram bar fell from 1,225,708 KGS to 1,222,587.50 KGS.

At the same time, the National Bank adjusted the selling prices of standard gold bars. The price of an ounce of gold fell to 386,016 KGS, compared with 387,001.50 KGS the previous day, whilst the price of a 100-gram bar fell to 1,259,265 KGS from 1,262,479.50 KGS.
