Bishkek construction companies warned about strict compliance with beautification rules

The Bishkek City Hall reminded construction companies of the need to strictly comply with the rules of urban improvement approved by Resolution No. 150 of the Bishkek City Council dated August 29, 2024.

According to paragraph 172 of the Rules for the Improvement of the Territory, construction sites are required to equip wheel cleaning stations for vehicles leaving the site. This requirement is aimed at preventing soil and dirt from being carried onto the roadway, which affects road safety and the condition of urban infrastructure.

The Bishkek City Hall Municipal Inspectorate is responsible for monitoring compliance with these requirements. The inspectorate will continuously monitor construction sites and take action against violators.

Construction companies are required to ensure the installation and regular operation of wheel washing stations, prevent contamination of adjacent areas, and promptly clean up within a 15-meter radius of construction sites.

The mayor's office emphasized that in case of violations, developers may be held liable in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. The authorities reminded that maintaining cleanliness and order in the capital is the responsibility of all organizations operating in the city, regardless of their form of ownership.
