Construction of the main stadium in Talas is due to be completed by the end of August

During a working visit to the Talas Region, Nurdán Oruntaev, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services, inspected the progress of construction work on the central stadium in the city of Talas.

During the inspection, the Minister instructed the contractor to pay particular attention to the quality of the work being carried out and to increase the number of workers on site. According to him, the new stadium must fully comply with international standards.

According to the design, the sports facility will have a capacity of 5,000 spectators. The stadium will feature west and east stands, all necessary facilities for footballers, as well as a media centre, VIP areas and a video assistant referee (VAR) system.

In addition, the complex will include a dormitory for athletes, a canteen and administrative premises.

Construction of the main stadium began on 9 April 2025. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned to coincide with Kyrgyzstan’s Independence Day.
