Sports stadium returned to the state

As part of ongoing efforts to recover illegally privatised state property, violations were identified in the privatisation of social facilities belonging to the APKO U plant.

It was established that during the period of denationalisation and privatisation of state property in 1993, a sports stadium owned by OAO U was transferred to private ownership.
As a result of investigative and operational measures, the owner of this facility, aware of the illegality of owning a social facility, voluntarily expressed his desire to transfer it to the state free of charge.

At the same time, on 19 May 2025, after completion of all necessary procedures, the land plot of the sports stadium with a total area of 1,158 hectares was transferred on a voluntary and gratuitous basis to the State Agency for State Property Management (GAUGI).

The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic continues to work on the return of property illegally removed from state ownership.
