10/22/2026, 11:45Tariffs for drinking water and wastewater services for Bishkek residents have remained unchanged, despite the approval of economically justified tariffs in March 2026. This was reported by the Antimonopoly Regulation Service.
For the municipal enterprise ‘Bishkekvodokanal’, the calculated cost of water supply is 15.73 KGS per cubic metre, and for wastewater disposal, 6.80 KGS. However, by Decision No. 101 of the Bishkek City Council dated 30 June 2026, tariffs for residents were maintained at their previous level.
A multiplier of 2.1 applies to sole traders and legal entities, whilst a multiplier of 3 applies to high-water-consumption customers.
The Bishkek City Council has also been instructed to develop a medium-term tariff policy for water supply and wastewater disposal for the period 2027–2032.
