Heat in houses, light in villages and roads in Tokmok: what 1.6 bln soms were spent on

Since the beginning of the year, Chui oblast has received almost 1.6 billion soms from the state. The money went to the basic needs of people and infrastructure. This is reported by the Ministry of Finance.

Most of all - for heating: 1.2 billion soms were allocated to support local heating companies. This allowed to pass the heating season steadily.

Another KGS 164m was allocated for Tokmok's development - for landscaping, roads and improving the urban environment. The funds were allocated by a separate decision of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Almost 140 million soms were spent on compensation of electricity for aiyl okmotu - rural administrations. This is assistance in payment of utility costs.

The oblast also received money for the maintenance of kindergartens, development of master plans for villages and other priority tasks.

In total, since the beginning of the year, Chui oblast has received 1 billion 571 million soms in the form of inter-budget transfers from the republican budget.
