Total exports to Europe amounted to more than $2.2 bln, which accounted for 13.8% of the country's total foreign trade turnover.
Despite the fact that the total trade turnover with Europe slightly decreased (by 1.8%), this is due to the reduction of imports from European countries by 23.6% to $851.2 mln, while Kyrgyzstan's exports increased by 18.6% to $1.4 bln.
The UK remained Kyrgyzstan's main partner in Europe, with exports to which were estimated at $1.3 bln. This is 13.8 times higher than in 2023. Gold was mainly exported (by $1.2 bln). Switzerland took the second place in terms of exports, amounting to about $66.1 mln. Kyrgyz gold also comes to this market, but here, on the contrary, there was a general decrease in trade turnover by 13.5 times. As a result, the republic supplied gold worth $63.5 mln to Switzerland.
Belgium and France also remain important partners. Exports to Belgium amounted to more than $27.2 million, where the main goods were engines and parts for vehicles, and to France were supplied about $19.3 million mainly goods from the category of aircraft, space technology, and their parts. Compared to 2023, exports to France increased 23.7 times.
Kyrgyz exports to Serbia also showed growth, by 7.9%. The main goods supplied to this country were dried vegetables, particularly legumes. Their supplies were valued at $9.7 mln, while total exports to this country amounted to $11.2 mln.
