06/05/2026, 17:39Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev held a meeting with Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin, during which the two sides discussed issues related to the development of bilateral cooperation.
According to Kasymaliev, the meeting’s agenda was packed and included discussions on trade and economic interaction, industrial cooperation, interregional ties, tourism, as well as cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
The Prime Minister noted that Kyrgyzstan and Belarus have every opportunity to further strengthen and expand their partnership.
Reportedly, over the past five years, trade turnover between the two countries has increased 4.5-fold—from $46 million to $206 million. Kyrgyzstan and Belarus intend to increase the volume of mutual trade to $500 million in the coming years.
The parties also emphasized the importance not only of increasing trade volumes but also of establishing new production ties and expanding economic cooperation.
