The buyback price of an ounce of gold in Kyrgyzstan rose over the weekend

Over the weekend, the buyback price of a 31.1035 g (ounce) gold bar rose slightly in Kyrgyzstan. As of 19 January 2026, it stood at 405,374.5 KGS, whereas on Friday, 16 January, it was at 405,352 KGS.

Thus, the buyback price increased by 22.5 KGS, while the overall price of gold in the country remained virtually unchanged over the weekend. The selling price per ounce is 411,455 KGS, compared to 411,432.5 KGS previously.

The change is insignificant, but the trend continues: gold remains a stable defensive asset and continues to react to fluctuations in global markets even on weekends.
