The competence assessment was carried out by the Kyrgyz Accreditation Center from June 24 to 27, 2025.
During the assessment, laboratory specialists accurately identified a number of quarantine pests and plant diseases, including bacterial blight and the grain weevil.
Some samples were found to be “clean,” which also confirmed the professionalism of the staff.
The reaccreditation confirmed the laboratory's right to conduct international-level examinations, which directly affects the phytosanitary safety, quality of agricultural products, and export potential of the country.
