    Last year, the Tunduk mobile app was downloaded 2.85 million times

    The Ministry of Digital Development summarised the results of digital transformation for 2024. During the board meeting, Minister Azamat Zhamangulov presented the key results of the work, and the heads of relevant departments and subordinate organisations outlined plans for 2025.

    In 2024, the active development of digital public services continued. Thus, 37 state bodies provided services through the state portal of e-services, and the number of processed transactions in the ‘Tүndүk’ system reached 3.53 billion. As a result, citizens saved 21 million hours and the budget - 1.67 billion KGS.

    Electronic signature was used by 1.17 million individuals and 42.3 thousand legal entities. 8.7 million documents were registered in the electronic document management system, which allowed the state to reduce costs by KGS 1.2 billion.

    Mobile digital services expanded significantly in 2024. The mobile application ‘Tunduk’ was downloaded 2.85 million times, 60 state services and 10 digital documents are available through it, including ID-card, driving licence and birth certificate. The amount of online payments through the application totalled 171.4 million KGS.

    2.04 million new users were registered in the Unified Identification System and 66 new information systems were connected. Entry to the system became available through QR code, biometric electronic card and ID-card.

    Main projects and tasks for 2025:
    - Launch of G-Cloud - a centralised cloud platform for storing and processing data of government agencies.
    - Establishment of a Backup Data Processing Centre (BDC) to ensure cybersecurity and uninterrupted operation of state information systems.
    - Development of digital competences through the launch of an IT college and training of civil servants.
    - Adoption of the Digital Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and development of open data infrastructure.
    - Increasing the number of digital public services and superservices for citizens and businesses.

    The adopted decisions are aimed at accelerated digitalisation of public administration, increasing the availability and quality of digital services for citizens and businesses.
