10/21/2025, 11:04The Honorary Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Bavaria and Thuringia sees great potential for expanding partnerships in the tourism and HoReCa sectors. Reinhold Krammel, who is also Deputy Co-Chair of the Kyrgyz-German Business Council, said this at a meeting with Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev.
During the meeting, he emphasised that there is potential for expanding the partnership between the countries not only in industry and education.
In particular, he said that Germany is ready to share its experience in developing sustainable tourism infrastructure with Kyrgyzstan, which has unique natural resources. This includes the creation of appropriate educational programmes to improve the qualifications of specialists in this field.
During the conversation, the parties also discussed the current state and prospects of Kyrgyz-German cooperation, as well as preparations for the business forum and Business Council meeting, which will take place at the end of November 2025 in Berlin.
Kasymaliyev noted the positive dynamics of bilateral economic relations and emphasised the importance of the institution of Honorary Consuls in strengthening business ties, attracting investment and developing entrepreneurial activity between Kyrgyzstan and Germany.
The head of the Cabinet also recalled the results of the business forum in Cholpon-Ata, where memoranda of cooperation were signed, opening up prospects for long-term projects between the business circles of the two countries.
