08/22/2025, 12:03In the first half of 2025, tourism accounted for 4.3% of the country's gross domestic product, which is 0.4 percentage points higher than in the same period of 2024 (3.9%).
If the current trend continues, by the end of 2025, tourism will account for more than 4% of Kyrgyzstan's GDP for the first time since 2019. There are 144,000 businesses registered in the tourism sector, which is 6% more than last year.
“These figures show steady growth and development in the tourism industry in Kyrgyzstan,” commented the tourism fund.
