A fine of 100,000 KGS has been imposed for unauthorised construction near the Bishkek–Osh motorway

Illegal construction and unauthorised use of a plot of land have been uncovered in the Uzgen district. The offender has been fined 100,000 KGS.

The inspection was carried out by the Osh City and Osh Region Office of the Land and Water Supervision Service following a referral from the Uzgen District Prosecutor’s Office.

The violations were discovered in the village of Leskhoz, Kyzyl-Oktyabrsky Aiyl Okmotu. Containers without the necessary documentation had been placed near the temporary weighbridge for freight transport at the 631.55-kilometre mark of the Bishkek-Osh motorway. Furthermore, unauthorised expansion and use of the land plot were established.

Following the inspection, a report was drawn up, an order to rectify the violations was issued, and, in accordance with Article 149 of the Code of Administrative Offences, a fine of 100,000 KGS was imposed.

The land plot has now been restored to its original condition.

The inspection was prompted by a letter from the Uzgen District Prosecutor’s Office regarding possible breaches of land legislation.
