Electricity consumption limits increased for Naryn region

Taking into account the appeals of residents of the Naryn region living in high-altitude and climatically difficult conditions, a decision was made to increase the electricity consumption limit during peak hours. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

As a result, the previously established limit has been increased from 189,648 to 264,312 kWh, which has made it possible to provide an increased volume of electricity and stabilize the region's power supply.

This decision was made as part of measures aimed at ensuring the stable operation of the power system during periods of maximum load.

Along with this, the authorized representative of the president in the Naryn region, together with district state administrations, territorial divisions, the Ministry of Energy, and Kyrgyzkomur OJSC, is conducting systematic work to provide the population with coal on an ongoing basis.

In addition, joint raids have been organized with antitrust authorities to prevent unjustified price increases for coal products. The inspections did not reveal any cases of unjustified price increases.

Overall, in the Naryn region, the price of coal does not exceed 5,500 soms, and the total stock is more than 3,000 tons, of which about 1,500 tons are concentrated at the social fuel bases of Kyrgyzkumur OJSC.
