In 2024, the poverty rate decreased in all provinces of the country compared to the previous year. Specifically, the poverty rate in Chui province dropped by 4.9 percentage points, in Batken by 4.1, in Talas by 3.3, and in Jalal-Abad by 3.2 percentage points. In Issyk-Kul and Naryn provinces, the decrease was 2.6 and 2.1 percentage points, respectively. A significant reduction was also observed in Bishkek and Osh cities — by 9 and 6.3 percentage points, respectively.
