In 2024, 22 companies were engaged in leasing activities in Kyrgyzstan, which concluded 3.7 thousand contracts - this is 24% more than a year earlier. All transactions were formalised on financial leasing terms.

Despite the growth in the number of contracts, their total value was KGS 6.6 billion, which is KGS 208 million below the level of 2023. The bulk of financial leasing (KGS 3 billion, or 45.5%) was for the purchase of vehicles.

The share of leasing contracts for agricultural equipment, machinery and mechanisms increased from 23% in 2023 to 26% in 2024. At the same time, the interest in construction and road equipment decreased: its share in the total leasing volume decreased by 24 percentage points.
