11/05/2025, 09:30A field seminar for local farmers was held in the Alay district, organised by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry as part of the national projects ‘3+2’ and ‘30+20+10’.
During the event, farmers got to know new agricultural technologies and methods for improving farming efficiency. One of the key points of the programme was the restoration of an apple orchard that had been neglected for several years. The work was carried out by the District Agricultural Development Administration, with the participation of specialists from the Department of Chemicalisation, Plant Protection and Quarantine, as well as other departments of the Ministry.
The seminar was held in the format of an open dialogue, discussing issues of crop yields, rational land use, export opportunities, and the introduction of innovations directly in the fields.
It is noted that the ‘3+2’ and ‘30+20+10’ projects have already shown tangible results throughout the country. This year, record yields were recorded:
These results confirm the effectiveness of agricultural initiatives aimed at innovation, self-sufficiency and the export potential of Kyrgyz villages.
