According to him, at a meeting earlier to review the results of 2025, the Prime Minister, Adylbek Kasymaliev, noted that, despite its status as the capital, the cost of utility services in Bishkek remains the lowest in the country. In particular, the waste collection tariff is also the cheapest — 41 KGS. In neighbouring cities, it stands at 50–60 KGS.
Zhunushaliyev emphasised that the city council is not currently considering raising other tariffs, but is looking into increasing the cost of water.
“Since 10.45 KGS is charged per cubic metre, this means that one litre costs just 1 tyiyn”, — he noted.
