10/21/2025, 10:46The CAREC 2025 Women's Business Forum ‘Together for Green Innovation and Gender Equality’ is taking place in Bishkek.
The event showcases innovative environmental solutions developed by women entrepreneurs and women's communities from across the CAREC region.
The CAREC Gender and Green Innovation 2025 Award ceremony will also take place in the evening.
Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Sultan Akhmatov noted that the government has adopted a programme for the development of women's entrepreneurship for 2022-2026, and as part of this programme, women's entrepreneurship has been highlighted in the law on entrepreneurship. This indicates that the country is paying considerable attention to the issue of women's entrepreneurship.
‘This event is a platform for the exchange of views. Representatives of our neighbours – Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan – are present at this event, as well as representatives of Azerbaijan and Georgia,’ he said.
