Over 4,000 people found jobs in Bishkek through employment services in 8 months

According to data from Bishkek's employment services, between January and August 2025, companies and organisations advertised 9,040 job vacancies.

As of 1 September 2025, there were 4,263 vacancies remaining in the job database, including 2,924 vacancies for blue-collar jobs.

The most sought-after professions in the labour market are teachers, doctors, drivers, seamstresses, salespeople, couriers and waiters.

Over the course of eight months, 11,251 citizens applied to employment services in search of work. Of these, 3,927 were registered as job seekers, and 7,324 received consultations on labour legislation, vocational training and retraining, career choice, and changing jobs.

With the assistance of employment services, 2,915 unemployed people found jobs, and after completing training, another 1,129 people found jobs.

One of the priorities of the services is to actively promote the employment of the unemployed through: vocational training and retraining (1,433 people were referred for training); paid public works (825 people); entrepreneurial activity based on a social contract; youth internships.

During the reporting period, 5,011 ninth-grade graduates from 57 schools in Bishkek underwent professional testing.
