05/27/2025, 17:10A project aimed at developing beekeeping and natural honey production has been launched in the Chatkal district of the Jalal-Abad region. The project is both agricultural and social in nature and is being implemented with the support of one of the largest companies and the district agricultural development department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry.
The initiators are not limited to production activities, but are also actively involved in the development of agriculture and the social sphere in the Chatkal district. The project is of strategic importance and public value.
As part of the initiative, five rural families were given 20 beehives each, for a total of 100 beehives. This decision is aimed at improving the economic situation of residents and promoting beekeeping as a sustainable source of income.
The main objectives of the project are to teach the basics of beekeeping and develop small businesses,organising the production of natural honey, helping to provide income for rural families, and promoting environmentally friendly agriculture.
Short-term training courses on beekeeping were organised for project participants. Thanks to this knowledge, families will be able to produce high-quality honey and contribute to the development of local products.
