The agency clarified that tax authorities have indeed received inquiries from individual citizens who have identified discrepancies in their property data. However, such cases are isolated and of a technical nature.
At the same time, the State Tax Service emphasizes that it is not responsible for the accuracy of the information contained in the database of the State Agency for Land Resources, Cadastre, and Geodesy, on the basis of which tax assessments are calculated.
The service added that to assist taxpayers, regional offices conduct selective data verification and proactively inform citizens of potential discrepancies—including regarding property area, land plot sizes, and other parameters affecting tax calculations.
As a reminder, earlier an entrepreneur contacted “Akchabar” and reported instances of increased property tax assessments. According to him, his case is not an isolated one.
