Today, construction work is underway in 119 villages across the republic to provide clean drinking water. In addition, a total of 600 villages are included in the state programme for drinking water supply.
Construction is also currently underway on 14 water management facilities, and design work is continuing on 18 facilities to provide irrigation water.
By 2026, it is planned to build 55 irrigation facilities — pumping stations, canals, BSR and BDR. These measures are aimed at developing agriculture, facilitating the work of farmers and reducing water shortages.
In addition, weekly meetings are held between Kurultai delegates and representatives of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, at which the issues raised by the delegates are considered in detail, appropriate decisions are taken and action is taken. Work in this area continues without interruption.
