There are plans to commission a further four by the end of the year, and to launch 15 industrial facilities in 2027. This was reported to President Sadyr Zhaparov during a working visit to the Chui Region on 7 November.
Over the past five years, 67 facilities have also been commissioned in the district. These include seven schools, nine paramedic and midwifery centres, 30 five-a-side football pitches, four sports halls and one nursery. In addition, two family doctor units, 12 staff accommodation blocks and two clean water supply facilities have been built.
During this period, 128.51 km of roads were asphalted in the district. Of these, 58.32 km were completed in 2026.
The district’s industrial development is accompanied by growth in agricultural production. There are 14 pedigree livestock farms and five seed-producing farms operating here. The latter supply seeds to other regions of the country.
According to the data provided, the yield of sugar beet rose from 405 KGS per hectare in 2021 to 700–750 KGS in 2026. Yields of wheat and barley seeds increased 2.5-fold over the same period.
Over the past five years, two large vegetable oil production plants have also been launched in the district.
