In Kara-Suu, 47.4 hectares of privately owned land will be transferred to the Presidential Administration for use

The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has approved the exchange of 47.4 hectares of privately owned land in the city of Kara-Suu, Osh Region, for land from the State Agricultural Land Fund. Following the exchange, the plots previously owned by citizens will be transferred to state ownership and then granted to the Presidential Administration for indefinite use.

According to Cabinet Resolution No. 718 of October 24, 2026, the private plots are located in the villages of Kirov and Erkin. In exchange, land will be provided in parcels Nos. 6, 7, and 119 in the village of Prisavay; Nos. 153 and 202 in the village of Erkin; and No. 255 in the village of Konurat.

The Kara-Suu District State Administration, in conjunction with the Kara-Suu City Hall, must conclude exchange agreements. The Land Agency will carry out land management work and register the rights to the plots with the state.

The resolution provides for the transfer of 47.4 hectares of land to the Presidential Administration for indefinite use upon completion of the exchange. The reasons for the transfer of the plots and the purposes of their future use are not specified in the document.

The resolution will take effect 10 days after its official publication.
