06/20/2026, 14:12The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has amended the rules governing the award and recalculation of pensions, as well as the procedures for citizens to submit applications to the Social Fund.
It is now possible to apply for a pension not only at regional branches of the Social Fund, but also via the ‘Insured Person’s Personal Account’ portal. A unified identification system is used for this purpose.
The Social Fund will obtain some of the necessary information independently via the ‘Tunduk’ system. If the required information is not available in the electronic databases, citizens will need to submit the documents in person.
The rules governing the calculation of insurance periods and the exchange of data between government bodies have also been clarified. Information obtained via ‘Tunduk’ will be considered official.
The changes relate to the award of old-age, disability and survivor’s pensions, as well as the payment of funeral allowances. The list of documents that applicants must provide has been clarified.
In addition, certain timeframes for processing applications and the procedures governing the Social Fund’s interaction with employers and government bodies have been updated.
The resolution will come into force 15 days after its official publication.
